Restarting JIRA after crash or reboot failure

Restarting JIRA after crash or reboot failure

1. RDP into JIRA. Your standard windows login/password should work.
2. Use the search bar on the start menu to look for 'Services'. Click the services desktop app match.
3. A long list of services will show up. For all of the services below, right click and then 'Stop' each service.

The JIRA server takes a long time to shut down, so it will give you a popup saying it wasn't timely, but that is not a problem.
1. Atlassian JIRA
2. Atlassian Confluence Confluence
3. Atlassian Bitbucket Atlassian
4. Atlassian Bitbucket Elasticsearch
5. Atlassian Bamboo Bamboo
6. SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)

4. After shutting each of these services down, we need to restart them. Right click and then 'Start' each service one by one. The SQL server must be started first. You should wait for each service to fully load before starting the next. **NOTE: if you simply click all 6 services without giving any time, the CPU, Memory, and Disk will all get stuck at 100% and your services may not start correctly. You can monitor this by hitting Ctrl + Shift + Esc

1. SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)
2. Atlassian JIRA ** This service can take up to 10 minutes to load, you can check progress by using your browser to JIRA:8085
3. Atlassian Confluence Confluence
4. Atlassian Bitbucket Atlassian
5. Atlassian Bitbucket Elasticsearch
6. Atlassian Bamboo Bamboo

5. Go to each of the websites to ensure functionality and that the most recent data has loaded.
